Maradona at Barcelona

Here is Maradona in a surprise visit to the Barcelona training session. He watched Barca beat Mallorca 3-1 the day before and was meant to fly out to Catalunya straight after the game.

He came to Barcelona to talk about Messi as Argentina have a friendly against France in February.

Maradona told the Barcelona players:

You are an example for all. You must continue playing like this. I want to congratulate you because what you’re doing has great merit and it allows everyone to enjoy football.

I wish you the best. If you continue in this manner, the titles will arrive.
